Customer Case: Label A

Label A is an agency specialized in developing innovative digital products. The company used to manage and secure its own network. After eleven years of growing as a business, it was time to let go of control over the network. Netleaf turned out to be an ideal match.

Oscar Kolthoff, managing director at Label A, reflects on partnering up with Netleaf: “Because of the growth we have had in recent years, and the growth for the future, I wanted us to be able to keep focusing our time and energy on our customers instead of our network. When I heard Netleaf was established in the Netherlands, I said: ‘I think they are the right company for setting up our offices in Amsterdam.’”

“We needed a stable and safe environment. It has to be up and running 24/7. It should also be easily separated from our customers;” says Kolthoff, “we want to be able to control their data.”

“Netleaf designed and implemented everything concerning LAN and Wi-Fi. They have been a huge help. The implementation happened very fast. First, we had an introductory meeting. After that, a consultant came by and they really showed their expertise. It was settled in no time.”

Bruno Barbaix, network and security consultant at Netleaf, explains the choices he made: “The design is set up via Aruba Central. The big advantage here is that the management, maintenance, and monitoring are done in the cloud. This cloud also contains a reporting module, which gives a clear picture of what users are using and doing on the network. This makes remote troubleshooting a lot easier. The knowledge of the Netleaf team combined with Aruba technology makes for a customer-oriented solution.”

Barbaix adds: “Thanks to Unified AP, Aruba Access Points are usable in different types of deployments. This can be cloud-based, controllerless or with a Mobility Controller.” This leaves Label A prepared for the future. Kolthoff concludes: “And if there is any problem, we can just call them. But that hasn’t been necessary. It just works, you know.”
